Additional Navigation Conventions
From time to time you will encounter various other navigation mechanisms such as the icon , which will take you to some location outside the scope of the normal "programmed instruction" buttons described on the previous page. On occasion, selection of a "link" will open an entirely new browser page so that you can view both the instruction and some other information at the same time. This mechanism will be used for definitions of new and important terms, as well as supplementary photos. When these secondary browser pages are created, you should size them such that you can view both the main instruction browser page as well as the supplementary browser page(s). When the supplementary browser page is no longer of use, you simply exit that page using the appropriate mechanism for your browser or operating system. For example, with windows 95/98/NT, click on the supplementary page's " X " in the upper right corner. This mechanism is used frequently and you should become familiar and comfortable with it. If you need assistance with this concept please email for help.
