Formal Message Traffic - Telegraph-like messages composed according to a set of strict rules which originates at some Ham Radio Station for the benefit of one person, and is destined for delivery via another Ham Radio Station for the benefit of another person.  Such a message may be relayed many times while moving from the source to the destination.
